Choreography for the form competition takes centre stage!
A kata is a form of exercise consisting of stylised combat sequences against mostly imaginary opponents. Aesthetics and acoustics (snap effect) are particularly important in kata in order to deliver a perfect kata performance. Regular kata practice not only improves technical skills, but also trains body control and the ability to concentrate. In addition, kata training helps to develop a better understanding of the principles of martial arts and thus to be successful in free combat.
The Punok Gold Kata Gi was developed for this reason by experienced martial artists. The premium fabric is suitable for the snap effect and is very robust and tear-resistant. The Kata Gi offers excellent freedom of movement and has been approved by the WKF for competitions. The jackets and trousers bear the WKF seal (WKF Approved). The jackets feature the Punok lettering in the respective colours red or blue.
Note: The original Punok WKF competition belts are not included, but can be ordered directly from us in the matching colours red and blue.
