Recap: Italian World Cup Jesolo 2026
From March 10 to 15, 2026, the Italian city of Jesolo once again became the center of the international kickboxing scene. At the renowned Italian Kickboxing World Cup – an official WAKO World Cup – athletes from all over the world came together to compete at the highest level.
With more than 4,030 registrations from over 40 countries, the World Cup in Jesolo is one of the largest and most important tournaments in international kickboxing. The event took place in the well-established location of Jesolo Lido at Piazza Brescia and offered ideal conditions for athletes, teams, and spectators. The World Cup stands not only for top-level sporting performances, but also for international encounters, passion, and a shared love of martial arts.
As an official WAKO Platinum Sponsor, CENTURY is present at the world’s largest events, supporting athletes and the global development of kickboxing. CENTURY Martial Arts Europe was also on site. Together with our Italian distributor, we were able to present our products right at the heart of the action and gain valuable first-hand insights. Events like this are especially important to us, as they enable direct interaction with athletes, provide practical feedback, and strengthen our connection to the international martial arts community.
Our sponsored athletes delivered outstanding performances. The women’s team achieved a strong second place, while the men’s team secured third place. These results highlight both the quality of our athletes and the high international level of the tournament.
A special highlight of the event was the signing of a new top athlete: Ricardo Albanese, Italian world champion, is now part of Team CENTURY Europe. With him, our team gains not only athletic excellence but also international visibility. His experience and achievements make him a valuable addition – both on and off the mat.
The World Cup in Jesolo is more than just a competition. It combines top-level sporting performance with the unique atmosphere of Italy. The mix of an international community, an impressive setting, and Italian hospitality makes this event a truly special experience every year.
The Italian World Cup 2026 was a great success – for the athletes, the organizers, and for us as a brand. With strong team performances, new partnerships, and valuable insights, we look ahead with motivation and are already looking forward to the next international events.
