Athens Challenge 2026 – Strong Start to the Season
The Athens Challenge took place from January 23 to 25, 2026, in Athens and marked a strong start to the tournament year as the WAKO European Kickboxing Cup. As a Platinum Sponsor of the WAKO, CENTURY was of course also on site to support the event and engage in direct exchange with athletes and teams.
Team Király impresses with strong results
From our perspective, there was a true highlight: Team Király achieved outstanding results. Economo Dimitrios secured second place, while Bálint Martin claimed first place in the Grand Champion category. As part of an agreement with the event organizer, we also had the opportunity to present the winners with special CENTURY Winner Shirts. Each champion received one of these shirts as a personal gift.
Successful premiere: Drive and Valor impress athletes in Athens
The weekend was also of special significance for us as a brand: for the first time, we presented our new product lines, Drive and Valor, at this event. After the products had already attracted great interest at the World Championships last November, this impression was confirmed once again in Athens. There were numerous purchases and we received consistently positive feedback. This is exactly what pleases us most, as it shows that our products resonate with athletes and are truly relevant in both competition and everyday training.

WAKO has more than 4 million members in 129 countries and organizes the Kickboxing World Championships every two years.
