The first WAKO European Cup of the year attracted an impressive 2800 participants from 24 countries to the Greek metropolis, competing in thrilling bouts. Known for its top-class organization and electrifying atmosphere, the tournament set new standards in the world of kickboxing.
Century Martial Arts – A Complete Success! One of the event's main sponsors, Century Martial Arts, was not only actively involved but also had a sales booth. To everyone's surprise, almost all products were sold out on the first day – a clear sign of the popularity of their high-quality martial arts equipment!
Outstanding Performances by Century Team Europe
The athletes from Century Team Europe delivered an impressive performance, proving they belong to the sport's elite:
- Alexandra Gregorieva was crowned Senior Grand Champion in the women's category, securing a well-deserved 1st place.
- Jack Buckley dominated the -79 kg category and also stood at the top of the podium.
- Devon Hooper fought his way to strong third places in two weight categories (-84 kg and -89 kg).
The Halker Kiraly Team – Unstoppable!
Another highlight was the outstanding performance of the newly sponsored Halker Kiraly Team, which once again impressively solidified its status as the best team in the world:
- The Men's Team Fight decisively won for the Kiraly Team and secured 1st place.

- Dimitrios Economo triumphed in 1st place.
- Martin Balint secured 2nd place.
- Mason Bumba completed the podium in 3rd place.
